The former governor of Sokoto State and current senator representing Sokoto South, Senator Aminu Wazri Tambuwal (AWT), has hailed former governor of Ogun State Chief Olusegun Osoba as a respected elder statesman and veteran journalist whose life is a testament to humility and diligence. 

The senator, who made a special trip to Lagos to celebrate Chief Osoba’s birthday, shared his profound admiration for the chief after a significant visit to his residence.  

AWT was in the company of Hon Olumide Osoba; a member of the House of Representatives and Prof Anthony Kila, the popular renowned political economist and Director of the Commonwealth Institute of Advanced and Professional Studies.

AWT described Chief Segun Osoba as an asset to the country and remarked, “As we continue to draw upon his immense wisdom, I pray for his enduring good health and strength”.
